Anxiety can suck the life out of life. It seems to me that we are experiencing an anxiety epidemic. You probably see it (and maybe feel it) too.
One of my many specialties as a counselor and hypnotherapist is anxiety. I've helped tons of people overcome all sorts of levels of anxiety—from everyday types of stress to "I can't leave my house" anxiety.
I have a unique perspective and insights into anxiety because of the work I have done with clients, and also because of my own experiences overcoming fear, anxiety, and even panic.

How Does Hypnosis Work? 0
Hypnosis won’t make you cluck like a chicken or jump up when a bell rings . . . unless you want it to.
These sorts of stage hypnosis antics have the unfortunate side effect of making people worry that if they get hypnotized they will do weird things they don’t want to do. The reality is people don’t come away from hypnosis doing anything that they don’t want to do.

The Chinese Farmer Parable: Maybe It’s Good, Maybe It’s Bad 0
Here is my version of the Chinese Farmer fable or parable that can help you to pull out of awfulizing about your life.
A farmer who was feeling down and out because his farm was not doing well went to the local guru to complain about his plight and seek advice. The guru’s response to his story: “Maybe it’s good. Maybe it’s bad.”
The farmer found the guru’s surprising “advice” disappointing and confusing.
He tossed and turned that night, unable to sleep for worry about his situation. His head spun imagining his family’s awful future.
